Bush Tucker and Boomerangs

May 19 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Free

We are teaming up with local Indigenous businesses Traditional Owners and Yurbay to put on this free event (courtesy of the ACT Government) to learn about bush tucker, experience how to throw a boomerang and learn about Indigenous culture to celebrate Reconciliation Week and National Sorry Day.

We will cook traditional meats which will be accompanied by a bush tucker salad that we forage for ourselves as part of a tour. Enjoy stories around the fire while enjoying your meal and keep the kids entertained painting their own Boomerang.

This event is by RSVP only. Although it may be a free event, we are catering for you. We do expect if you have RSVP’d for the event that you will be there as we have limited places.

Please note we will be eating a variety of traditional meats, salad and damper. We cannot cater for specific dietary requirements but should have options for everyone.
