Art Workshop: Articulated Cardboard Platypus

Come and learn about the most unusual and secretive resident of the Jerrabomberra wetlands, the platypus. Using recycled cardboard and paint, kids will construct their own platypus informed by its sleek, furry body, flat bill and webbed feet. The platypus teaches us to be aware of our own uniqueness, so come along to see what you can create! Ages: 8 to 12 Tickets $20

Put on your detective hat, and by piecing together clues, find out what animals live at the Jerrabomberra Wetlands. Back at the education centre we'll use the microscope to identify waterbugs and discover how these important critters teach us to look after rivers and waterways.
