Jerrabomberra Wetlands School Program

Jerrabomberra Wetlands School Program

Bring the classroom to Jerrabomberra Wetlands with our flexible Schools Program. There are opportunities available for all age groups and teaching styles. From Preschool to Year Twelve, we can tailor Ranger facilitated tours and other ‘hands on’ activities to align with curriculum topics. Some themes include wildlife, water quality, Indigenous culture, scientific monitoring, evaluation and environmental management.

For example, our existing primary age activity, Bush and Water Bug Detectives, sees students piece together clues such as scats and tracks to work out what animals inhabit the wetlands. They also collect and identify water bugs, which are good indicators of water quality.

Charges are $6 per student (including GST).
